There has always been a special place in our musical heart for the local scene and it’s musicians.  In addition to supporting us over the years, City Weekly has been helping give voice and exposure to the great local talent that resides in Utah. That’s why we’re honored to be apart of the 2012 City Weekly Music Awards.  We’ll be playing Febuary 4 at The State Room in Salt Lake City (21+) along with Ryan Tanner, and Holy Water Buffalo.

We’ve been away for a little bit.  Our sincere apologies.

Most of us have been in writing wonderland, which is a scary place sometimes, hence the lack of blog entries.  But I will also say that writing land has been an awesome place as well.  Robbie and Stu have been conjuring up some amazing tunes these days; Aaron as always has been coming up with some groovy beats; Brandon some wacky awesome sounds; and Jacob, well, maybe he’ll tell you in the next entry.

But truthfully, we are working hard on getting the songs ready to record our first full length album on Atlantic Records, and are sparing no expense, so be (very) excited.

On another exciting note, our EP was released on iTunes a week or so ago, and we also have a store where you can buy the physical copy as well as other merchandise, so feel free to take a gander.
